A box full of some jeweleries I have made.

Making things is just so satisfying. Why buy a card when you can stamp one? Why buy a necklace for a friend when you can make one? Handmade things mean so much more.

My love of crafts doesn't necessarily depend on handmade gifts. My mother can tell you that I "just make" things... they leap out of drawers and scuttle under my bed. I certainty don't wait for a friend's birthday to create crafts!

Maybe my constant craft-making has to do with the fact that my parents are engineers. An engineer learns about the way that things work. My crafts are far from mathematical, though. The right-brained part of me thrives on creativity. That is why some of my crafts are so... weird. I would also like to attribute the good crafts to it, though. :) I just know one thing-- if you put me in a room that simply contained a few pieces of ribbon, paper, glue, and perhaps a rocket ship, I will make the next Mona Lisa. Well... maybe not the Mona Lisa. I'm not sure how I could handle the fame. Besides, do you really want to be known just because you can't make up your mind whether to smile or not? But I digress...

What kinds of crafts do I do? Oh, just about anything and everything. I like to try anything I see, hear of, or imagine. I do everything that I have the supplies and time for. Jewelry, crochet, scrapbooking, sewing, little bottles decorated like fairy dust... pirate maps... and so much more.

Please browse through my blog! Hopefully you will find plenty of information and inspiration. The way that I make crafts based off of pictures I've seen is to simply look at the picture and figure out a way to make the craft. I recognise that some people don't work like that, so you might find a few instructions splattered throughout this blog.
